Mr. Soo is responsible for both strategic and business development of the company. Prior to founding Chrontel in 1986, he was a researcher in receiver electronics for optical communication at AT&T Bell Laboratories in New Jersey and at the Electronic Research Laboratories of the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Soo received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, at Berkeley.

James Lin, CFO

Mr. Lin is the Chief Financial Officer for Chrontel. He joined the Company in April 2009 and brings more than twenty-five years of financial management experience. Previous experience includes CFO of China Operations and Division Controller at United Technologies Corporation, CFO at IC Spectrum, and Corporate Controller at Legend Silicon. Mr. Lin received an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a BS in Economics from Tung Hai University in Taiwan.

Demonder Chan, Vice President, Systems and Software

Mr. Chan is responsible for leading the software and system engineering activities at Chrontel. He has extensive experience in the development and integration of hardware and software for wired and wireless data communications products. Prior to joining Chrontel, Mr. Chan was one of the founders and director of engineering at NovaLink Technologies. He also held engineering management positions at Exar Corp., Racal Datacom and National Semiconductor. He received his BSEE degree from Chung Yuan University of Science and Engineering in Taiwan, and the MSEE degree from San Jose State University.

Leo Pao, General Manager, Asia

Mr. Pao is responsible for product marketing activities of the company. Prior to joining Chrontel, Mr. Pao was the General Manager of Opti Inc. in Taiwan from September 1990 to March 1998. His last position at Opti was Director of Sales, Asia Pacific in the United States. From May 1988 to September 1990 he served as sales manager at Synnex Technology International Corp., a distributor of electronic systems and semiconductor devices, representing both Intel and C&T. From July 1986 to May 1988 he was a hardware design engineer at Tecom Corp., a telecommunication system product company. He brings to the company more than 20 years of selling experience in semiconductor. Mr. Pao received his BSEE degree from Ming Hsin Institute of Technology.

Yiwei Wang, Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Wang is responsible for research and development of all products. Mr. Wang received his BSEE degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China and MSEE degree from Wright State University. After receiving his doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, he joined Chrontel in 2001. During his career at Chrontel, he has led and contributed to the design of numerous products.
