(www.chrontel.com), a leading provider of video interface technologies, today announced the launch of low-power, high-performance HDMI 2.0 retimer serial ASICs, suitable for various PC/IPC and portable terminal devices, display equipment, HDMI extenders, HDMI repeaters, and high-definition video signal expansion. The CH7110 Serial ASICs are meticulously designed to support a wide range of host processor platforms or terminal devices, including mainstream X86, ARM architecture mobile processors, and other embedded processors, as well as HDMI connections for various display devices, digital TVs, and embedded monitors

   The HDMI 2.0 retimer series ASICs launched include CH7110A-N and CH7110A-Y, as well as the corresponding industrial part numbers. Among them, CH7110A-Y integrates an efficient 3.6-1.3V to 1.2V power supply voltage conversion module internally, and the chip supports single 3.3V power supply; CH7110A-N supports dual power supply of 3.3V and 1.2V. The CH7110 series adopts a new semiconductor production and processing technology, which integrates mature adaptive equalizers, high-precision clock oscillation generators, 6G HDMI clock data recovery modules, active DDC buffers, programmable output driver pre enhancement modules, and HPD isolation control modules. It adapts to HDMI input signals with AC and DC coupling, compensates for signal attenuation in various links of HDMI signal transmission, eliminates phase noise and various random or systematic jitter on the clock and data signals, and uses internal high-precision clocks to re-encode and generate clean and complete HDMI signal outputs. The CH7110 series ASICs also integrate MCU and ROM internally. During normal operation, pre programmed firmware needs to be run to achieve chip initialization, adaptive algorithms for equalizers, signal monitoring, and related logic for internal module operation. A comprehensive online update tool enables application engineers to calmly face changes in requirements and quickly adjust system equipment.
